Updates are announced in our RSS feed, and you can
always use the Help menu "Check for updates" function in the software to check
if a new build has been released.
Upgrading from an earlier version?
To upgrade an older version to Simple DNS Plus v. 5.2, simply download and install above
to the same location on your harddisk as the older version.
IMPORTANT: Always make sure to backup your settings and data before upgrading.
IMPORTANT: Version 5.2 may require a new license
and license key.
If you purchased or upgraded your current license before April 23rd 2008, you will need to purchase

IMPORTANT:
Version 5.2 is NOT compatible with plug-ins for earlier versions.
You can download v. 5.2 versions of plug-ins not included with the standard installation
that we (JH Software) provided from here.
If you are using any 3rd party plug-ins or have created your own plug-ins, you will need to get
updated versions of these compiled for v. 5.2.
IMPORTANT: Unlike earlier versions, v. 5.2 does NOT run on Windows 98 / Me.

V. 5.x installers includes an "upgrade utility" which converts data from older Simple DNS Plus versions for you automatically.
However Upgrading is one way only. There is no automated tool to go from v. 5.x back to previous versions.
